KNRTU at ERASMUS+ ENTER Working Meeting in Slovakia

On February 16-18, a regular working meeting of the European Union ERASMUS+ project “EngineeriNg educo Tors pEdagogical tRaining / ENTER” participants was held at the Dubnica Technological Institute (DTI University) in Slovakia.

The project is generally aimed at designing and implementing multilevel vocational and pedagogical training of engineering universities professors on the basis of international networking.

Both Russian and foreign engineering universities and companies, the project consortium participants, attended the partnership meeting. KNRTU was represented by the Director of the Institute of Additional Professional Education, Professor Mansur Galikhanov, Head of the Department of Engineering Pedagogy and Psychology, Professor Farida Shageeva, Professor of the same Department Gulnara Khasanova, Associate Professors of the Department of Foreign Languages in Professional Communication and the Department of Methodology of Engineering Natalia Kraysman and Ulyana Kazakova.

Since January 2021, as a result of network cooperation within the framework of the project, the program “Innovative Pedagogy for Engineering” (iPET) has been tested at our university with the participation of KNRTU professors, and classes have been conducted by qualified specialists in pedagogy from project’s partner universities.

At the meeting each consortium participants shared their report presentations on iPET pilot program including the analysis of challenges they faced while implementing the project and prospect for its development. Other topics that were also covered during the discussion were module and the program accreditation, project quality management and plans for further implementation and dissemination of the project results.
