KNRTU presented the Double Degree Program with Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT) for the 1st and 2nd year bachelor degree students (field of study – Chemical Engineering).

Through an active cooperation of both universities that lasts for more than ten years, KNRTU students have a unique opportunity to receive two diplomas at the end of their bachelor’s program (Russian and Chinese). Students who study in the majors “Polymer Processing and Engineering” and “Digital Engineering” and successfully completed the first two years, can apply and continue the 3rd and 4th years of their studies at BUCT.

Educational process at BUCT is full conducted in English. Therefore, the level of language proficiency should be in a high level and the student should know the terminology in chemical engineering. Moreover, they will defend two diplomas (the theme may be equally the same, but the diplomas must be written in two languages and conform to the standards of two countries). Undergraduates with high academic performance and excellent knowledge of English have an opportunity to study at BUCT for free.

Representatives from SIBUR Company also took part in the meeting and expressed their interest in such specialists. Since the Company has two representative offices in China they are looking for professionals with good level of Chinese and English languages and experts with competencies in chemical engineering, who well-oriented in the local market.
