This year's event, devoted to the 150th anniversary of the Periodic System of Chemical Elements, gathered both young and experienced researchers from 47 organizations of science and higher education from Moscow to Ulan-Ude, scientists from Belarus, Norway, USA, Central Asian states, Algeria, Vietnam and other countries, as well as representatives of industrial enterprises.

The extensive program of the conference, in addition to plenary and breakout sessions, included round tables, an exhibition of low-tonnage agricultural food production, a festival of innovative projects Spectrum of Taste, as well as a semifinal event for the UMNIK program of the Innovation Promotion Fund.

Colleagues from Norway - Norway's Trade Representative in Russia, Frode Mo, and Marine Director of the University of Bergen, one of the leading experts in the field of aquaculture, Amund Maage - emphasized the importance of cooperation in the field of fish and seafood production for both Norway and Russian Federation.
