At the Kazan Digital Week 2024 international forum, Associate Professor Guzel Strekalova of KNRTU was awarded an honorary diploma and statuette. Her research study, co-authored with Associate Professor Ninel Mochalova from the Kazan State Institute of Culture, was recognized as the best in the section "Information Technology in Education" under the forum’s focus area "Digital Technologies in Education".

The winners were congratulated by Maksut Shadayev, Minister of Digital Development, Communications, and Mass Media of the Russian Federation, and the awards were presented by Rifkat Minnikhanov, President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The forum received around 300 studies from participants across various focus areas.

Guzel Strekalova, Associate Professor of the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship at KNRTU, focused her research on one of the most pressing issues in higher education—the use of digital technologies and artificial intelligence to enhance the quality of university education.

“It was both exciting and an honor to take the stage at such a prestigious and modern forum. In our study, we presented the results of research on improving the quality of higher education through the widespread implementation of IT technologies and artificial intelligence. We highlighted existing challenges and proposed solutions, including long-term collaboration between the ‘education – government – business’ triad, modeled on the entrepreneurial university of the innovation type. I believe that the active use of IT technologies not only contributes to the 'cultivation' of educational activities but also raises its overall quality by accelerating the acquisition, retention, and practical application of knowledge,” said Guzel Strekalova.
