KNRTU students actively participate in the International Science and Technology Summer Camp in Beijing, which is held at the Beijing University of Chemical Technology.

The prestigious summer school brought together 26 students from different countries. As a result of competitive selection, three students from our university went to Beijing – Mariana Moryakova (Institute of Polymers, 3rd year), Svetlana Abashina (Institute of Petroleum, Chemistry and Nanotechnology, 3rd year) and Oleg Potapov, a postgraduate student at the Department of Chemistry and Technology of Elastomer Processing at the Institute of Polymers.

– We have a very vivid program here, – says Svetlana Abashina. – Teachers from different countries give us lectures on chemical technology, we do experiments in laboratories, and we also attend interesting excursions. And of course, we share experiences and make new acquaintances with students from different countries.

During the selection process for participation in the school, our students showed a high level of language proficiency, deep academic knowledge, strong motivation and willingness to engage in intercultural dialogue.

– This program is a great opportunity for me as a a soon-to-be specialist in the field of chemical technologies," adds Mariana Moryakova. – I am sincerely grateful to KNRTU for this chance and I am very glad to be here to get to know China, its culture and local people, as well as share my experience with them. "Our students’ success is the result of hard work and excellent training," says Marina Galimzyanova, Head of the International Affairs Department at KNRTU. – This is an important step in strengthening our cooperation with Beijing University of Chemical Technology and continuing an already established tradition: last year, five of our students also represented the university in China with dignity. Our partnership, including the double degree program with BUCT, opens up unique opportunities for KNRTU students.

We wish our students unforgettable impressions, fruitful studies, bright discoveries and making new friends!
