On July 15, an event that has already become a tradition took place in the assembly hall of building "D" – the award ceremony for the best 2025 graduates. The event brought together the brightest and most successful athletes, creative personalities, young scientists and public figures. On this special day, relatives and friends came to support the graduates.

The event was opened by the Minister of Digital Development of Public Administration, Information Technology and Communications of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as Chairman of the KNRTU Alumni Association Airat Khairullin:

"Graduation is the result of many years’ work and the completion of an important period of your life, when you not only studied, but also formed as a full–fledged personality. Chemistry is now entering a new era – the era of artificial intelligence and new materials. It is not enough for modern engineers to be well educated in the exact sciences, it is also important to have leadership skills and critical thinking. Remember, the student years are a time in our lifes we keep in our hearts with special warmth."

Airat Safin, General Director of Kazanorgsintez and SIBUR-RT, Alexander Livshits, CEO of Kazan State Gunpowder Plant, Natalia Chernykh, Senior Manager of SIBUR Corporate University, Evgeniya Pylaeva, Deputy CEO of Tatneftekhiminvest Holding, congratulated the graduates.

"I wish to keep the bar for a graduate of KNRTU, especially when you come to work at industrial enterprises. Try to reveal your potential. You are strong, smart guys who have received a high-status engineering education. I would like to note that the doors of the university are still open: you can always continue your studies within the framework of master's and postgraduate studies. Good luck! Remember, KNRTU is a home away from home!", Vice–rector for Academic Affairs Dilbar Sultanova congratulated the graduates.

More than 130 graduates received coveted diplomas, commendations and memorable gifts from the university this year. Some of them shared their memories of bright student events and plans for the future.

Daria Milchakova, Institute of Petroleum, Chemistry and Nanotechnology:

"Studying at KNRTU is an incredible experience that has become a real driver for the development of my potential. For me, the main achievement is working in a large friendly team of the Union of Students and Postgraduates. Back in my freshman year, I set myself the goal of becoming a part of it, and succeeded: in 3 years, I went from secretary to first deputy chairman. The immediate goal is to continue studying for a master's degree at KNRTU under the Advanced Electrochemical Technologies program.

Dmitry Epov, Institute of Innovation Management:

"A funny situation happened with my studies: initially, I was going to study law at other universities, but I ended up in Publishing at KNRTU. And I didn't regret it at all, because the years of studying here made it clear that media is exactly what I want to develop in. My main achievement is the media award "Potok" in the nomination "Media Manager of the Year". Now I am already working as the head of the Media Committee for Children and Youth Affairs of Kazan, and in the future, I plan to link my life with marketing in commercial organizations."

"I thank the graduates for being with us all these years, for your activity in studies, sports, creative and social life. Special thanks to your parents and the KNRTU faculty for the knowledge they passed on. I wish the guys to find themselves in their professional activities and, of course, not to forget our university," said Yuri Kazakov, Rector of KNRTU, concluding the ceremony.
