On July 22, a delegation from Liaoning Petrochemical College, headed by Vice-Rector Liu Zhaohui, visited Nizhnekamsk. The delegation included Head of the Training Department Zhang Lixin, Dean of the Petrochemical Department Liu Xiaojun, Director of the Institute of International Education Yue Hong, and Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Petrochemistry for Academic Affairs Sun Zhiyan.

During the visit, there were guided tours of Nizhnekamsk Institute of Chemical Technology (NCTI), Nizhnekamsk College of Petrochemistry and Oil Refining named after N.V. Lemaev, SIBURINTECH-NK Engineering Expertise Development Training Center, and an interactive exhibition "SIBUR. House of Polymers."

Chinese partners discussed the prospects for developing cooperation with the leadership of NCTI and College of Petrochemistry and Oil Refining. The delegation showed particular interest in the integration of educational programs with the industrial partner SIBUR, specifically the creation of the SIBURINTECH-NK Training Center based at NCTI.

The “House of Polymers” was also highly appreciated by the guests as an innovative project that presents the activities of the petrochemical holding in an accessible way.

The educational organizations have expressed interest in cooperation in a number of areas, including academic mobility of students and faculty.
