A solemn ceremony of signing a memorandum of cooperation between KNRTU and East Max Group of companies, one of the leading suppliers of injection molding machines with deep expertise in commissioning and injection molding engineering, took place within the framework of the international specialized exhibition RUPLASTICA, which brought together leading experts and representatives of the largest enterprises in the polymer industry, at the Crocus Expo IEC near Moscow in Krasnogorsk.
The document was signed by Ilya Shibanov, General Director of East Max Group of Companies, and Ilfar Gilmutdinov, Vice Rector for Research and Innovation at KNRTU.
As East Max representatives noted, commenting on the signing of the memorandum: "This is not just an agreement, it is the start of systematic work at the junction of science, education and industry."
At the same time, it was announced the opening of a joint Polymer Technology Center with East Max at our university, an educational and production facility where practical training in polymer injection molding based on real production tasks will be conducted in collaboration with scientists from the KNRTU Polymer Institute.
The center will use equipment supplied by East Max Group to improve the competencies of production personnel — representatives of companies that want to increase the stability and efficiency of casting: process engineers, adjusters and specialists, production managers. In the future, it is planned to organize work with students, said Ildar Musin, Director of the Polymer Institute.
— The meeting of the two partners is not accidental, — emphasized Ildar — On the one hand, KNRTU's unique expertise in the field of polymer science and in the training of practical engineers, and on the other hand, an engineering company with 20 years of experience in cooperation in the Chinese equipment market and with enterprises in Russia and the CIS countries is deeply interested in cooperation.
The parties expressed their common confidence that the Polymer Technology Center will become an effective practical platform for the development of competencies, training of specialists and the introduction of modern solutions in the field of polymer processing.
