«Dictation of the Consul» is conducted annually in the biggest cities of Russia. French studying students of Kazan wrote dictation based on French speaking literary writers. The text of the dictation was read by native speakers. The organizers of the event were Center of French Language and Culture «Alliance Francaise - Kazan» under the umbrella of the Embassy of France in Russia and Faculty of Social and Technical Systems of Kazan National Research Technological University. The participants of the contest were divided into two groups – non-linguistic students and linguists. All participants and winners got certificates and prizes from organizers and the Embassy of France in Russia.
KNRTU students won 2nd and 3rd place in non-linguistic category.
