Professor’s research interest areas cover: eco-friendly technology of obtaining cellulose from non-wood raw materials; application of enzymes and microorganisms in paper-and-pulp industry; “green” chemicals and vegetable raw materials; biodegradable polymers.
Le Quang Dien had a meeting with the university representatives and scientists and discussed the opportunities for development of further cooperation. He had a number of meetings with the students from Vietnamese community in Kazan, KNRTU post-graduates from Vietnam and visited KNRTU boarding school for talented children with advanced study in chemistry.
A highly qualified specialist from Vietnam contributed to the development of collaboration with KNRTU. He introduced new approaches and traditions of Hanoi University of Science and Technology while sharing experience with the students. Joint efforts in training specialists increase the quality of professional education that is oriented to promote engineering disciplines among Russian and Vietnamese students.
