KNRTU took the 158th place and improved the total score from 31,4 last year to 33,9 this year.

This rating is mainly focused not only on the features that are common for the BRICS countries, but also on the strengths of higher education systems in these countries. The highest (6th) place among Russian universities was taken by the Moscow State University, whereas universities from China took first five places.

The Republic of Tatarstan was also presented by Kazan Federal University and Kazan National Research Technical University named after A.N. Tupolev.
