KNRTU students won grants on study at foreign universities

19.11.2019

Annually KNRTU students get the opportunity to apply for the scholarship and grant programs for studying in the leading universities of Europe and China. Mostly the students tend to opt for the grants of People’s Republic of China, “Algarysh” (the most popular are “Nicolai Lobachevsky” and “Henri Poincare”), as well as for DAAD scholarships and others.

This year, 11 graduates and students of KNRTU started their studies on master’s degree programs, and some of them continue their studies within the partnership programs at foreign universities in China, Germany, France and Canada.

Thanks to “Algarysh” grant program, 3 KNRTU graduates continue their master’s degree studies at universities of Germany (“Nicolai Lobachevsky” program) and France (“Henri Poincare” program), among them:
• Konstantin Petrovnin (Polytech Montpellier, France)
• Arseny Dmitriev (Germany).

There are also 4 KNRTU graduates who study on Master’s Degree programs under the PRC grant:
• Amina Latypova (Beijing University of Chemical Technology)
• Julia Kholmatova (Beijing University of Chemical Technology)
• Ozoda Bekshurodova (Anhui University)
• Gulnaz Shaykhlislamova (Beijing University of Chemical Technology).

Faculty of Design and Software Engineering students Galiya Shaekhova and Anastasia Barsukova are studying under the double - degree program at Merseburg University of Applied Sciences.
Under the German Academic Exchange Service grant (DAAD), Ildar Ziganshin (FDSE) and Anastasia Likhomanova (Faculty of Sociotechnical Systems) will undergo a 3 months’ study on Bachelor Degree Programs at Merseburg University. Students of master’s degree courses about their study abroad:
Konstantin Petrovnin (Polytech Montpellier, France): “The main range of classes is aimed at replenishing and expanding knowledge in the field of agricultural biotechnology. This semester there will be given seminars aimed at theoretical knowledge acquisition, and starting from the next March a traineeship will begin which objective is to put the acquired theory to the test. Currently I am in active search for the organization where I’ll work as a trainee. In general, there are no significant language problems”.

Amina Latypova (Beijing University of Chemical Technology): “This year I was fortunate enough to begin pursuing a master's degree in Chemical-technological Engineering at Beijing University of Chemical Technology. Master’s degree program on technical specialties in China lasts for 3 years. Here you have to attend classes only during the first course and after that you conduct scientific research and prepare your graduation project.

These days we attend classes and meetings of our laboratory group, as well as various events that take place in our University and in the city. During the second and the third courses we will carry out laboratory works and prepare our graduation projects. Today on my schedule there are such disciplines as matrix theory, polymetallic compounds, inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry and, of course, the Chinese language. The entire study program is being realized in English. All professors are very responsive and understanding, and you can always ask to repeat if something is unclear to you.

Galiya Shaekhova and Anastasia Barsukova about their study at Merseburg University in the framework of double - degree program: “The first thing that surprised me was a break for lunch during study time. The building of the university is rather big, but we have enough time to get from one of its point to another for having lunch and resting without haste. All classrooms are well equipped and most professors use these facilities very actively. Though there are still some difficulties in understanding professors, our level of German is being improved thanks to extra classes”.
