06.04.2020

In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection, in accordance with the recommendations of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, KNRTU resumes the distance learning process from April 6. It was announced by the Vice-rector for Academic Affairs Alexey Burmistrov. Work in this mode will continue as necessary following the development of the epidemiological situation.

Alexey Burmistrov expressed confidence that the state exams will be held in June. The rest of the exams will be taken online if the epidemiological situation does not return to the normal.

Vice-rector said:«Our University is large, there is no universal exam schedule for everyone, the curricula differ among different educational programs. Those who have exams in April will take them remotely, via conference call. As for the exams in May, the regime may change. Now we are also deciding how to help graduate students who have unfulfilled program requirements: here, apparently, we will also use video communication. We will definitely meet our students halfway, and I hope we will all be in time and fulfill all the program requirements. I hope that the students will be able to complete work placement in May or June. Regarding the admission forthe next year, we will act in accordance with the orders of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia».
