Applications for the L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science Awards 2020 have been announced

Under the terms of the competition, women scientists, candidates and doctors of science under the age of 35 (inclusive) carrying out research in Russian Scientific Institutes and Universities (in the following fields: Physics, Chemistry, Medicine and Biology) can apply for the national endowment. The criteria for selecting fellows are the candidate's scientific achievements, the significance and practical benefits of their research, as well as their determination to continue their scientific career in Russia. At the time of submitting the application, scientists must have a Ph.D. degree and a research position.

To participate, you need to submit an application on the Awards website, having previously registered. You need to fillin the form, then click "Submit".

Applications are accepted from April 15 to June 15, 2020.

The amount of each L'Oréal-UNESCO endowment is 500 000 rubles.

The program has been launched in Russia in 2007 with the support of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO, the UNESCO Office in Moscow and is part of the international project L'Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science Awards.
