On April 20, 2020, students of the Faculty of High Energy Materials and Products Adelya Khasanova (Scientific Supervisor: Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Chemistry and Technology of Organic Nitrogen Compounds – Lidia Spatlova) and Irina Bokova (Scientific Supervisor: Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Chemistry and Technology of High-Molecular Compounds – Timur Mukhametshin) remotely participated in the 70th Open Anniversary International Student Scientific Conference "SSC-2020" in the framework of the 155th anniversary of the Moscow Polytechnic University.

More than 300 reports from 7 countries of the near and far abroad from more than 60 universities were presented at the conference.

In the Chemical and Biological Engineeringsection, in which our students participated, 17 reports were presented from 10 universities — Kuzbass State Technical University named after T.F. Gorbachev, Moscow Polytechnic University, BeijingUniversity of Chemical Technology, Bauman Moscow State Technical University, Penza State Technological University, Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, Samara State Technical University, etc.

A report by Irina Bokova on the Development of a Method for Obtaining Hydroxypropylcellulose Nitrate took the first place in the open section Chemical and Biological Engineering.

A report by Adelya Khasanova on the Development of a Method for Obtaining Nitro Derivatives of Benzofuroxane as a Substrate of New Biologically Active Substancesreceived a diploma.
