The results of all-Russian competitions "UMNIK" became known. According to the results of the competitions, 12 KNRTU projects won. The following students were awarded: Albert Musin, master's student of the Department of Processes and Apparatuses of Chemical Technologies. "Development of Technology for Manufacturing Composite Membranes Using 3D Printing for Purification of Organic Solvents". Almaz Aetov, master's student of the Department of Theoretical Foundations of Heat Engineering. "Development of an Alternative Method of Industrial Waste Disposal Using Supercritical Fluid Media". Ruzanna Ziyatdinova, post-graduate student of the Department of Cosmetic Technology.. "Development of Highly Sensitive Luminescent Thermometers Based on Tris (β-diketonates) Europium(III) and Terbium (III)". Ilyas Zakirov, master's student of the Department of Cosmetic Technology. "Development of Protective Heat-sensitive Vapor-permeable Membranes Based on Phosphor-containing Polyurethane Ionomers for Membrane Clothing". Valery Gubernatorov, post-graduate student of the Department of Architecture and Design of Wood Products. "Development of Technology of the Deep Chaga Extraction with an Increased Yield of Melanin for Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Industries". Yevgenia Nikolaeva, student of the Department of Environmental Engineering, school “Technolider”. "Development of Technology for Water Treatment of Petrochemical Production by Filtration and Sorption Method using Modified Biocomponents". Sara Basyrova, post-graduate student of the Department of Physical and Colloid Chemistry. "Development of Environmentally Friendly Packaging Materials Based on Biodegradable Polymers". Ivan Zakharov, graduate student of the Department of Food Engineering of Small Enterprises, became the winner of the "UMNIK-EFKO" contest presented the project "Development of Technology for Producing a Biodegradable Sheet from Pulp mass and Biomodified Gluten". Ilya Yemelyanov, Associate Professor of the Department of Systems Engineering, won the competition" UMNIK-Neftegaz" with the project "Development of Software for Digital Design of Economically Optimal Heat Distribution Networks in Chemical and Technological Systems". Bulat Gataullin, student of the Department of Medical Engineering, became the best in the competition "UMNIK-NTI-Marinet" presenting his work "Development of Paint and Varnish Materials with Antibacterial Properties for the Surfaces of Shipping Facilities". Guzel Fahretdinova, master’s student of the Department of Medical Engineering, won in the competition "UMNIK - Digital Russia. Kazan" with the project "Development of Intellectual System of Preliminary Diagnosis for Patients with Type 2 Diabetes" and in the same category won the project "Development of Hardware and Software Complex of Reading and Processing Data in the Holding and Metering" performed by a student of the Department of Automated Systems for Equisition and Processing Information - George Christoforov. In 2018, 11 winners received the «UMNIK» grant and in 2019 – 12. The current competitions can be found at the link.
