On June 29, the RUR Rating Agency published the RUR Subject Rankings 2020. This is an international ranking of universities published by RUR together with Clarivate Analytics Company since 2010.

Over 11 years, 1,100 leading universities from 85 countries took part in it. Each university is evaluated according to a methodology that consists of 20 separate indicators combined in four directions of assessment: Teaching Ranking, Research Ranking, Internationalization Diversity Ranking and Financial Sustainability Ranking.

The Rating of Technical Sciences includes 757 universities, 66 of them are from Russia. KNRTU took 576th place in the world classification and 26th among the best domestic universities, having improved its total score by 5 points in a year.
