19.08.2020

The Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation has prepared a support program for Russians affected by the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic. Our university together with the Young Professionals Union (WorldSkills Russia) will take a direct part in it.

During the period of self-isolation, a significant number of enterprises were closed and many workers were laid off, some of them are still under threat of dismissal. It became more difficult for graduates to find work. KNRTU will help such citizens completely free of charge: our university was included in the all-Russian list of organizations recommended for the implementation of vocational training programs and additional vocational education for persons affected by the spread of the new coronavirus infection.

The purpose of such educational programs is to support people in the field of employment, as well as provide them with the opportunity to acquire additional professional skills to increase their competitiveness in the labor market.

KNRTU has wide range of opportunities in this area - for a number of years, university representatives have been actively participating in the WorldSkills Russia movement and organizing competitions, including ones at the university.

During this time, the university has become one of the leaders of the movement in Tatarstan in several directions. KNRTU is the head organization for the training of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Russian Federation national teams’ members in various WorldSkills competencies: Laboratory Chemical Analysis, Printing Technologies in the Media, CAD Engineering Design, Industrial Design, Polymer Materials Manufacturing, Fashion Technology, Labor Protection.

Not only future participants of the competition gain knowledge from us: in 2020, KNRTU received the right to train teachers (masters of industrial training) in the Printing Technologies and CAD Engineering Design competencies.

For these competencies, as well as for the competences Manufacturing of Products from Polymer Materials, Labor Protection and Industrial Design, free education will be provided. It will help program participants receive additional professional skills demanded by employers.

The most important component of the program is the employment of students after training. They will receive qualification documents, as well as a «Skills-Passport» with the profile of the acquired professional competencies. The results will be recorded to the federal register.

The period of education is August to December 2020. Registration is already open, so you can apply now and receive all additional information on the official website.
