On September 2, the results of the International Ranking of the best universities according to the Times Higher Education magazine (World University Rankings 2021) were published. The Republic of Tatarstan is represented by three universities: KNRTU, KNRTU-KAI and KFU. For the first time, KNRTU entered this ranking in September 2018.

This year, the number of Russian universities included in the list has grown from 39 to 47. Universities were evaluated according to the following criteria: Teaching, Research, Citation, Industry Income and International Outlook. Our University has kept its position in the 1001+ group, improving its performance in terms of International Outlook (26.7 pts. compared to 25.2 pts. last year), Citation (+7 pts.), Research (+0.7 pts.) and Teaching (+0.3 pts.).
