The official ceremony took place on September 3 at the Tatarstan Oil and Gas Chemical Forum during a roundtable discussion "Human Resourcing in Oil and Gas Chemical Complex: Engineering Teaching Development" organized by KNRTU.
The Memorandum was signed by Acting Rector of KNRTU - Yuri Kazakov and by Mirrico Group Owner and CEO - Igor Malykhin.
The prospects of the cooperation between KNRTU, a leading Russian educational and research center in the field of petrochemistry, and Mirrico, the largest Russian group of oilfield service companies, are very extensive. The Memorandum calls for joint research and development activities to create new products using the scientific potential of the University. Mirrico's employees will be trained at the specialized departments of the University, while KNRTU students and faculty will do internships at Mirrico.
"We see our goals in obtaining more resources for innovation and the flow of qualified personnel that can ensure our competitiveness. For KNRTU, the cooperation within the framework of the Memorandum guarantees the advanced development of education, its compliance with the technological requirements of a modern enterprise and the possibility of developing students' skills that are relevant to the demands of employers," said Igor Malykhin.
