Within the framework of the International Network Scientific and Practical Conference Synergy-2020, a plenary session dedicated to the 130th anniversary of KNRTU is held in Kazan on the basis of Kazan National Research Technological University on November 10-11. The conference is titled Engineering Education in the Context of Future Industrial Revolutions - Synergy 2020.

The purpose of the conference is a joint discussion of modern trends in the development of engineering education, innovations in the training of engineers, taking into account the needs of the real sector of the economy, primarily the petrochemical industry.

The main directions of the conference:

1. Global trends in engineering education in the context of digital transformation of society.

2. Interaction of engineering education with high-tech business and industry.

3. Digital educational environment and scientific and educational projects, digital competency models and mechanisms for their independent certification.

4. Training of highly qualified personnel for leading scientific, educational organizations and the business community.
