International company Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) has published a new Emerging Europe and Central Asia University Rankings 2021.

By the beginning of 2021, KNRTU took 39th place (last year - 47th) among 115 Russian universities included in this Ranking. In the QS EECA University Rankings 2021 KNRTU also improved its position by rising from 201-210th place to 194th.

The QS Ranking is based on a number of criteria. The most important of them are Employer Reputation (+2.8), Faculty Staff with PhD (+9.23), International Faculty and International Students (+9.71), Citations per Paper (-10.75), International Research Network (-2.86), etc. These data show that the coronavirus epidemic has significantly complicated international cooperation, but despite this, KNRTU's positions have improved in general over the year.
