On July 8, Interfax International Information Group has published its 12th annual National Ranking of Universities 2021. Our university remains among the best 30 universities of Russia, having taken a place in the 28-30 group and the highest positions among all Russian educational centers in the field of chemical technology.

This year, 341 universities were assessed in the framework of the national university ranking project. The ranking includes all Russian high-profile universities: 29 national research universities, 10 federal universities, 33 flagship universities, 21 universities participating in Project 5-100, as well as 11 non-state universities.

Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) topped the list of the leading Russian universities. National Research Nuclear University MEPHI and the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) were ranked second and third respectively.

The universities' activities were assessed on a 1000 point grading system according to six main parameters: brand, educational activities; research activities; social environment; internationalization (international cooperation); innovation and technology entrepreneurship.
