FROM THEORY TO PRACTICE: MASTER'S STUDENTS FROM IVANOVO TRAINED AT KNRTU

From November 11th to 16th, Master’s students of Ivanovo State University of Chemistry and Technology studied at KNRTU for a week. They arrived at our university to study the course “Theory of Technological Processes of Inorganic Productions”.

Lyudmila Kitaeva, Head of the Educational Programs Department of Advanced Engineering School, addressed the students with a welcoming speech: “Advanced Engineering School Promkhimtech is actively implementing the network form of education, but you are the first stream of students with whom we interact not remotely, but in a face-to-face format. You will get acquainted with one of the most promising departments of the university, the Department of Inorganic Substances and Materials Engineering, you will learn from the best lecturers and study on the most modern equipment”.

From the first days the Master's students with interest immersed in the university atmosphere: they listened to the course of lectures, got acquainted with the equipment of the laboratory of modern mineral fertilizers and performed a number of practical laboratory works under the careful guidance of the Department Chair Professor Aleksey Khatsrinov.

It should be reminded that the network form of education allows students to master certain parts of the educational program: subjects, courses, disciplines (modules), practices using the educational base of several universities, the joint efforts of which will lead to an increase in the level of training of future specialists. Such training will allow students to form a set of certain competencies, applying which they will be able to promote the interests of the country at the global level.

“Due to this trip we have consolidated the material we already know and also got a lot of new information that will definitely come in handy in the learning process. The lecturers are interested in making sure that the students learn the material well. They were sure to find an answer to any of our questions,” said the students.
