Delegation of Provence-Alps-Riviera region (France), headed by the First Vice-President of Regional Council, Patrick Alman, visited Kazan National Research Technological University.

On November 4, delegation of Provence-Alps-Riviera region (France), headed by the First Vice-President of Regional Council, Patrick Alman, visited Kazan National Research Technological University. The visit of KNRTU was conducted in the framework of their visit to the Republic of Tatarstan with the purpose of familiarization with commercial and economic, industrial and investment potential of the Republic, as well as studying the issues of cooperation with enterprises and organizations of the Republic.

The representatives of the delegation were heartily welcomed by KNRTU administration and professors including Vice Rector for Academic Affairs – Dr. Alexander Kochnev, Vice Rector for Economic Affairs and Innovations - Dr. Valeriy Alyayev and Director of research department - Dr. Alexander Dresvyannikov. Patrick Alman noted that Provence-Alps-Riviera region actively develops its science and educational potential and regional universities are open for cooperation with KNRTU. “The basic specialization of your University is the dominating direction of our regional development” – Patrick Alman said.

By turn, Vice Rector Alexander Kochnev indicated some most important aspects of possible cooperation with the Provence-Alps-Riviera region and its universities. Particularly, it matters the realization of joint academic programs as well as training of KNRTU professors and students in French universities. Upon completion of the meeting, the delegation members visited the exhibition of KNRTU scientific developments.
