The visit of KNRTU delegation to German partner universities

On December 8-11, 2013, the delegation of KNRTU, headed by the rector – Dr. German Dyakonov, visited partner universities in Germany.
The delegation of KNRTU visited University of Applied Sciences in Merseburg and Chemnitz University of Technology. The main purpose of the visit was further development of joint academic programs.
Collaboration with University of Applied Sciences, Merseburg started in 1976. In 2012, the joint IT-technology academic program was launched and today a group of KNRTU MSc students study at the University of Merseburg. In 2014, KNRTU is planning to increase the number of dual degree programs with Merseburg University by starting joint program in chemical engineering
Chemnitz University of Technology is one of the leading technical universities and one of the most significant partners of KNRTU. The double-degree programs of Mechanical Engineering will be launched in the next year.
Chemnitz University collaborates with the significant partner of KNRTU – Krauss Maffei GmbH & Co KG, which is one the world leading manufacturer of polymer processing equipment.
Chemnitz University is a part of Federal Cluster of Excellence “MERGE”, which includes leading universities with strong innovative component.
