During the meeting, Dr. Joel Ericson presented the programs of Fulbright in Russia and discussed the opportunities of participation in them as for students so for faculty and staff of KNRTU. Dr. Joel Ericson is one of the key partners of KNRTU with longstanding cooperative relations.

The delegation of Broward College was represented by the Director of Fulbright Program – Dr. Joel Ericson, the President of Broward College - Dr. David Armstrong, Associate Vice President – David Moore and Professor – Boris Gertsik. The parties signed the agreement on collaboration in the area of associate degrees. According to Dr. Ericson, the program of collaboration between KNRTU and Broward College is unique as this is the first such program in Russia, which allows getting the dual associate degree. During the meeting, the Rector of KNRTU – Dr. German Dyakonov underlined that Broward College is a strong international partner of KNRTU.

Broward College is one of the largest in the USA. It is situated in Miami area, Florida. Over 67 thousand students study there and one third of them are international students.
