The visit was held in the framework of the initiatives for the development of partnerships with the enterprises of Switzerland and also as a result of the visit of Senior Vice President of “Ferring Pharmaceuticals” company - Marianne Kock to KNRTU. The Chairman of Ferring's Board of Directors and the company's Executive Chairman - Dr. Frederik Paulsen is the Honored Doctor of KNRTU.
The organization of joint educational programs was discussed during the visit. The representatives of École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne expressed their readiness to organize a competitive admission of KNRTU students to free Master’s degree programs in English. EPFL also agreed to organize the dual degree program with KNRTU in the nearest future.
