During the official visit to Czech Republic, the delegation met with the President of Czech Republic Miloš Zeman in Prague. The parties noted successful development of relations in industrial, social, cultural and other spheres, and good potential for expanding bilateral cooperation.

Later, at the meeting with Czech businessmen in Prague Municipal House, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan is open for investments and will render overall support to Czech companies willing to realize their projects in Tatarstan. Czech Minister of Industry and Trade Jan Mladek, in his turn, said that considering difficult political situation Czech companies are interested in supporting mutually beneficial cooperation with Russian regions.

After that, the delegation of Tatarstan met with the Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic Mr Jan Hamáček. The parties discussed the collaboration and investment opportunities.

On the next day, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Governor of the South Moravian region Michal Hašek signed Agreement on cooperation between the Republic of Tatarstan and the South Moravian Region in Brno. Later on, in his interview with media representatives Michal Hašek confirmed that Russia and Tatarstan are reliable partners of Czech Republic, and difficult political situation between Russia and EU would not affect regional cooperation and friendship between Tatarstan and Czech Republic.

Later on, the delegation of Tatarstan took part in opening of new research centre «Technology Innovation Transfer Chamber» (TITC). TITC is a research park and business incubator in Brno (Czech Republic). It is one of the main projects of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the South Moravian region and Brno University of Technology.

After that, the delegation of Tatarstan visited machine-tool enterprise «TOS KUŘIM» in Kuřim (South Moravian region).
