The delegation of Germany included the Assistant Professor of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (Institute of Process Engineering in Life Sciences) - Katrin Ochsenreither and M.Sc. of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (Institute of Process Engineering in Life Sciences) - Dörsam Stefan Markus.

The representatives of Karlsruhe Institute of Technology were welcomed by the Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs – Dr. Alexander Kochnev, the Chair of Chemical Technology of Wood department – Dr. Vladimir Bashkirov and other representatives of KNRTU administration and faculty.

During the meeting, the representatives of Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and Kazan National Research Technological University made their presentations and discussed the prospects for collaboration. In the framework of the visit to Kazan, the delegation of Germany visited KNRTU laboratories and museum, as well as Kazan Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics.
