On March 30-April 1, 2015, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by Chief executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina, Chairman of Tatarstan State Committee for Tourism Sergey Ivanov, and Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Rustam Kabirov visited Dubai, UAE to take part in Annual Investment Meeting, AIM-2015. It was aimed at international strategic cooperation and gives its participants an opportunity to share experience and present offers to foreign investors. During the talks, both the Tatarstan and Emirates representatives appreciated the perspective cooperation.

Rustam Minnikhanov invited the Minister to visit the KazanSummit 2015 International Investment Forum to be in Kazan on June 15-16. Rustam Minnikhanov held a number of meetings and negotiations with heads of UAE, Qatar and Morocco ministries and agencies.

“At AIM-2015 forum we are presenting Tatarstan industrial enterprises and innovative areas of economy, for example engineering centers in the sphere of laser technologies, creation of medical simulators, petrochemical plants and nanotechnologies,” Rustam Minnikhanov said. He added that Russian and UAE leaders support steps of Tatarstan on establishing close relations with UAE, and expressed his confidence that cooperation in many areas will be realized in the nearest time. He mentioned such spheres as Islamiс banking, industry, trade, tourism.

AIM-2015 is the international forum dedicated to industry and investments. It is aimed at strengthening international trading cooperation, presentation of projects and companies, and the conference of its main participants.
