The delegation included: Jesper Culmsee - General Manager of New Catalytic Approaches Development of Innovation Technologies Department (Denmark); Poul Nielsen - General Manager of Chemical Products R&D department (Denmark); Rasmus Nielsen - Leading engineer of Chemical Products R&D department (Denmark); Jens Perregaard, General Director “Haldor Topsoe” (Moscow); Anastasiya Trukhina – Regional Manager of Innovation Technologies Department “Haldor Topsoe” (Moscow).

The delegation was welcomed by the administration and professors of KNRTU. KNRTU professors made their presentations of our university and current scientific researches in the field of catalysis. In the framework of the meeting, KNRTU and Haldor Topsoe signed the agreement on collaboration and discussed the issues of joint educational program for masters and other prospects of cooperation. Also, the representatives of Haldor Topsoe visited KNRTU laboratories during the visit.

Haldor Topsøe is a Danish catalysis company founded in 1940 by Dr. Haldor Topsøe. The company has over 2700 employees all over the world, of which 2100 work in Denmark. Haldor Topsøe specialises in the production of heterogeneous catalysts and the design of process plants based on catalytic processes. Focus areas include the fertiliser industry, chemical and petrochemical industries, and the energy sector (refineries and power plants). Haldor Topsøe A/S is one of the world's leading companies within the field of heterogeneous catalysis, and appx. 50 percent of the fertiliser used on a worldwide scale is made with the help of technology from Haldor Topsøe.
