The 44th IGIP International Conference on Engineering Pedagogy and the 18th International Conference on Interactive Collaborative Learning (ICL) were the part of the World Engineering Education Forum.

The organizers and participants of the WEEF 2015 were such prestigious international organizations as IFEES – International Federation of Engineering Education Societies, EEDC - European Engineering Deans Council, SEFI - European Society for Engineering Education, ENAEE – European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education, EUCEET – European Civil Engineering Education and Training Association, GEDC – Global Engineering Deans Council, IGIP – international Society of Engineering Pedagocy, IIDEA – International Institute for Developing Engineering Academics, IACEE – International Association for Continuing Engineering Education, BEST – Board of European Students of Technology, SPEED –Student Platform for Engineering Eduction Developtment, COPI – Conference for Engineering and others. Engineering department of the University of Florence rendered a great assistance in Forum conducting.

WEEF 2015 gathered over 700 representatives of the engineering education community from all over the world. Over 300 presentations were made.

KNRTU researchers showed their activity by making over 15 presentations on the IGIP Conference.
In the framework of the IGIP special meeting, an honorary degree of IGIP Senior Member was awarded to Dr. Julia Ziyatdinova – Director of KNRTU International Affairs, Chair of Department of Foreign Languages for Professional Communication.
