History
The Department of Vacuum Engineering for Electrophysical Installations was established in 1985. The first Chair was Gabdelnur Mukhametzanov, Full Professor, Doctor of Engineering, winner of awards, namely, Honor Award in Science and Technology of the Republic of Tatarstan, Honor Award in Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
The Department of Vacuum Engineering for Electrophysical Installations prepares Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree Students in the field of Technological Machines and Equipment (major: Vacuum and Compressor Engineering of Physical Installations, educational program: Vacuum Machines and Units) for various branches of science and production.
Research Activities
The scientific activity of the Department is focused in the field of applied tasks:
- Research and development of calculation methods of double-rotor and gear pumps;
- Development of technologies of protective coatings application;
- Research of thermodynamic and thermophysical properties of liquid metals and organic liquids.
